BHA Alumni Testimonials

“I am so proud of how far BHA has gone, and believe so much in the positive impact BHA has on the lives of our Muslim community. Both of my children have been to BHA since pre-k1 and I can’t wait until I can bring my baby Ali to BHA soon too inshallah. I wouldn’t have my kids anywhere else. I believe that this is the true success of a school, when we have our own product coming back and bringing their kids here. We are the only Islamic school that provides the important foundation in Islamic identity in young kids, and the perfect balance between secular and religious studies (and being strong in both mashallah).”

“I believe that my education at BHA set me up for my current and future success. Being that BHA was the only school I’ve ever known before UTD, my experiences taught me to pursue my goals with the intention of pleasing Allah, giving back to my community, and representing the beauty of Islam through my character and actions.”

“BHA is not perfect. BHA never advertised “perfect.” What BHA delivers on is providing an exceptional environment that fosters a love and understanding of Islam in a relatable way that no other institution in America is capable of doing.”

“Unlike a public school where you graduate among hundreds, my BHA graduating class of 46 really left BHA as brothers and sisters! After the past few years in university, I definitely have come to more appreciate the preparation in BHA, both in education and deen and look back fondly.”

“BHA has instilled core values in me that I will always carry forever and continue to build on towards my Islamic community.”

“Enjoyed and cherish the knowledge I learned, the relationships I hold onto, and the memories I made.”

“Alhamdullilah I am grateful for being surrounded by excellent teachers and an environment rooted in Islam throughout grade school, and I credit this environment, as well as my parents for being able to keep Islamic values in my heart as I ventured out into the world.”

“I loved my experience at BHA it was like a family! We all knew each other and had amazing teachers to guide us through school. That is what make Islamic school different and I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the BHA family!”

“Having connections with open-minded teachers at BHA helped prepare me for holding fast to my deen while being non-judgemental and accepting of others on a college campus.”

“BHA taught me certain Islamic values that I continue to carry with me. Some of what I miss most about BHA are the morning Athkaar we would all do in unison, the daily prayers, and the role models that exemplified Islamic character amongst our teachers and staff. Being in an environment that prioritizes Islamic values has a long-term effect that I only came to realize years later. May Allah bless BHA and all of its staff, students, and volunteers.”

“My years at BHA molded my deen and education. I still continuously use the lessons and Quran I learned in school in my every day life. I would not be nearly as confident in my faith as I am today if I had not attended BHA.”

“I feel so fortunate and blessed to have been afforded the opportunity to graduate from BHA. I have learned many life lessons that I have been able to apply not only in my life, but in my students lives as well.”

“During my grade school experience, BHA heavily valued the success of all students and the friendships and relationships I made during that period were everlasting.”

“Enjoyed and cherish the knowledge I learned, the relationships I hold onto, and the memories I made.”

“From tafseer of the Quran to the Seerah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ, BHA taught me the true value of divine knowledge. How all things are meaningless unless we love Allah ﷻ and the Prophet ﷺ more than ourselves. Pursue this with sincerity, and you will find comfort. Pursue comfort, and you will only find despair. I hope the students today appreciate how far the school has come. May Allah ﷻ keep the BHA family firm on His Deen, and protect us from all that displeases Him. Talk less and do more. الحركة بركة”
